Eden
Van model: Ford Transit L3H2
Year of construction: 2021
Like any other project, this one brought new challenges—from its conception to its level of complexity—and that’s exactly what I love about what I do: its diversity. Eden is ready to travel, offering plenty of space and a large kitchen area, which makes it ideal for long journeys. The slide-out bed converts into a double bed or a sofa, so you can work or chat with visitors. All the furniture was designed to be compact (such as the folding table or the sliding doors, so as not to lose space) while still feeling spacious. We didn’t waste a single corner without making it beautiful, something very characteristic of Toba. We don’t underestimate the weight of wood, but we also can’t avoid working with this noble and beautiful material. So we used it as thoughtfully as possible—and did you know what? Almost all the wood used in the furniture and walls is reclaimed wood! Who would have thought it could look so cool? Its main highlight? The kitchen—and the beautiful wood stove. No one can deny it’s a real beauty, something anyone would love to have in their van, making it truly feel like a little house on wheels.
